The 2024 election season has ended. I want to thank God, my family, the other candidates, and everyone who had a part in our campaign. We won another term on the school board and i look forward to continuing to serve the students, staff, families, and Cabarrus community.

I am grateful to the people of Cabarrus County for trusting me to serve on their Board of Education. Our public school system faces a lot of immediate challenges. We will confront them together to ensure our children have the tools and opportunities they need to be successful.

I’m currently at Northwest Cabarrus High School. Polls are open until 7:30 tonight! 👍

If you have already voted, thank you! I need you to make sure your family, friends, and co-workers have a plan to cast their ballot. If you haven't been to the polls yet, please remember that there are important local races on the backside of your ballot this year.

On the eve of election day, more than half of all registered voters in Cabarrus County have already voted. Every analyst says this will be a historically close election—every vote counts.

The races on your ballot go from the furthest away (Washington DC) to the closest to home (school board). Make sure you complete your ballot. You can’t give up halfway through. In fact, turn it over and start at the end. Saturday voting is open now until 3pm.

I know some of you will think I’m playing favorites here, but… Central Cabarrus just took the crown for best stadium burger. They have the best set of toppings I’ve seen so far this season and it will be hard to beat that combo with a Sundrop and crinkle cut fries. 😋

Undercover candidate! There was no campaigning Thursday evening. Just making balloon animals with a couple of kids from my church for a local elementary school’s curriculum night.
