I sadly couldn't find a newer one, but it's well-documented that Germany has shifted to the right significantly in the last few years, coinciding with a global trend. Its politics are currently not leftist by any metric

All parties (except the FDP and AfD) have shifted to the left, as shown in the chart. The CDU is now where the SPD used to be. This is a normal development, because the parties are adapting to the changing needs of voters (those who have joined the party want redistribution, etc.).

No one wants Germany anywhere near a position of power.

@hemabe @vijayprashad I know because I live here that the CDU is a right-wing party, SPD has moved to the center and is playing their lapdog, and the far-right AfD is at 27%. Germany hasn't been properly leftist since Willy Brandt.

@morrah202017340 @WMyosotis @nocontextmemes It's probably just set up to open in the browser by default. Webp is encoded completely differently to png or jpg, so you're just changing what the os expects when choosing which program to read the file in.

@elfilippo_ @WMyosotis @nocontextmemes Im confused what do you mean? Like for example my pc cant open webp images with the image programs, it opens chrome and then displays it that way. If I do change the file extension to jpg it opens them in the image programs no problem.

@WMyosotis @nocontextmemes Because the properties label tells by extension. Try it with an app that doesn't have webp support and you'll see.

@cantralwas88959 @pmamtraveller Only later. Right before the Nazis, the Weimar Republic was incredibly woke for back then, still progressive by today's standards. They had weekly lesbian magazines, legal trans recognition and surgery, tons of lesbian and some gay bars. I highly recommend the Wikipedia article.
