Well, we can argue about which agent wins at what task. But if you’re actually writing, maintaining, or fixing a project - how talking to an agent in a terminal beats having it fully integrated in the IDE. things change, but we keep pretending that doing everything in a terminal makes us smarter.

we all saw the chart how less and less people use stackoverflow. was funny, right? recently Meta apps added ability to react/unreact on message in messenger via their graph api. It clearly does not works as it should. returns meaningless, weird error. There is open, yet unanswered question on meta devs community about it. week ago I asked the same question on stackoverflow. No answer. what we do now?

the task requirements with very few words, merge requests with extremely short descriptions or readmes with just few code examples were way better than these stupid emoji-filled paragraphs. at least they had a sense.

I wonder if anything changed during the last few months in the x algorithm or if it still shows only posts by "celebrities" or some shitty posts that make you feel overwhelmed but give nothing.

most devs I meet don't know how to vibe code in Cursor I find it crazy they'd rather waste hours instead of invest 20 minutes into their workflow. here's my stupid simple system:

and here is the new finding - the lightweight server monitoring platform which just finished to set up. looks very nice and clean.

took several min to run litequeen on my server + add basic auth on top of it. And there are hundreds of other amazing services there, including grafana, metabase, Ollama with open webui and so on. what @coolifyio does for community is just amazing.

`apps.get_model()` is one of the finest thing Django has to offer in order to not break migrations and import historical versions of models. 👏
