@akjaw1 Good question, I'll add soon a new paragraph to answer it! The short answer is that you need to invoke Snapshot.withMutableSnapshot in your test to wrap the code that is changing the values (in production this method is invoked by Compose under the hood)

@fabioCollini Interesting article! I was just wondering if using State instead of StateFlow won't make testing harder. Do you have any experience on this topic?

@bohsenT Thanks! derivedStateOf can be used only in the first example because the lambda parameter of derivedStateOf is not a suspend lambda
