I am of the mindset now that the whole “the Iranian government slaughtered tens of thousands of Iranians” might be mostly (if not largely or entirely) propaganda.

A rare instance of France doing the right thing: this resolution would effectively launder a US-Israel unilateral war of aggression into a multilateral UN mandate, which is completely egregious.
This resolution is the geopolitical equivalent of a rapist asking the police for help to restrain his victim because she's fighting back too hard. Letting it pass would make a complete mockery of everything the UN was supposedly created to prevent.

Within 3 years, I went from thinking that Israel was a strategic ally—our Middle East deputy for maintaining peace in that region—to realizing that it a terrorist state holding our government leaders hostage and using America’s military to pursue its goals of imperialism
In my mind, it has gone from benevolent partner to evil antagonist

The majority of Americans, most of whom have not heard of Hasan Piker, would not support the insane, bigoted, and anti-American things that come out of his mouth. Dissing Piker is in fact a good political strategy because it tells the majority of American voters you're normal.
