So by that metric and what you are saying, you are saying EVEN NOW without the death penalty that people wouldnt report because it would destroy and kill family members lives.

@foopdrew @kaemi0273 People see prisons as chaotic zoos where anything could happen. So if some child rapist gets stabbed, they "had it coming" as if he just tripped and snapped his neck. But if the state executed said child rapist, then that's different. It's more personal and "moral".

@foopdrew @kaemi0273 Then that's ignorant on society's part. People are murdered in prison all the time. If the idea is that they'll be unjustly killed by the state, then we should also worry about them being unjustly killed by another inmate, or a guard. But nobody worries about this.
