I’m a fan of embeddings like any AI engineer. But for inexperienced orgs with large document volume scale, (model out-of-domain, text), it quickly becomes expensive. Especially when you make uninformed choices around model/dimensionality/vector db/algorithms. It’s not easy to make informed decisions as there is so much hype.

Tomorrow I'll be posting the early registration site for the new AI platform we have been developing. ⚡️ The team have been cranking hard on the development, design, connecting with potential customers and using the internal alpha bits to improve our own processes. It'll still be a short while until we go fully live with the general public, but the early adopters will be greatly appreciated in the pre-launch. They help shape an existing concept into something that will, hopefully, blow the minds of the folks who join after the early access period. The vision is to help you - any person - delegate tasks to a team of agents. We're aiming to make this as accessible as possible to folks who want to discover, create and use AI agents. No engineering required, facilitating the future of work. Looking forward to posting more in the next day.

2.5 months ago my 81 yo father fell off a ladder from 7 meters. 13 vertebrae and 12 ribs broken, a spinal cord oedema and a pneumothorax. He had 2 surgeries. This weekend he came back home, still needing a walking frame while he regains muscles. He was incredibly lucky.
