@TinaKotek does not support protecting sibling contact for siblings in fostercare. Any so call progressive or Democrat that voted for Tina who still supports her is also saying they don't care about foster youth.

June marks three years since Roe v. Wade was overturned, thereby ending the constitutional right to abortion services. Oregonians believe health care decisions should be made between an individual & their doctor, & I will honor those decisions and protect access to health care.

@TinaKotek Except for blended families the state requires they are married or one is pregnant in order to be counted as a whole family and to add the non bio child to ERDC. But it sure will count the whole family when it comes to SNAP.

Oregon is joining the multi-state lawsuit against the Trump administration after Elon Musk and his DOGE team gained access to the personal and private information of millions of Americans. No one is above the law— not billionaires and not the President.

I am speaking here only as a Former Foster youth. What I say is not reflective of my employment or educational status. SB740 has a hearing on the 13th. If you support repayments to former foster youth who's social security funds were seized then please email your Representatives and sign up for this hearing in support. Many Representatives do not know the impact that former foster youth have, especially for those of us who aged into adulthood without resources or supports. The hearing allows for people, voters like you to share why former foster youth who's funds were already taken should receive those funds back as repayments to help support things like housing cost, childcare, education or trade and medical expenses not covered by insurance. These are things that these funds were meant to cover for, they were supposed to be saved on behalf of youth who received them. They weren't and as a result many former foster youth never had the ability to access funds set aside for them to help them transition to adulthood. It is a contributing factor for many as to why many of us have ended up houseless and in addiction or incarcerated. Please support making right something that was wrong. Here is the link.
