Two clear trends after speaking to builders on upcoming, highly performant chains: 1. The existing infra stack (oracles, RPCs, indexers, explorers) are just not able to keep up. There's a relatively sizable market for a new infra provider who's fully optimized for gigagas, high TPS chains, especially in EVM. 2. While it may be enough in the interim, the idea of your chain being 10K TPS as your edge won't be the case in the future. With high performance rollup stacks already launched, it will be as easy as ever to build a gigagas chain. This makes us huge believers in the niche-specific, app-specific, or target market-specific chain outlooks.

The most underrated thing about Ethereum is that it has the soundest economics of any chain. All Ethereum validators earn positive yield. Meaning that their operating costs, (bandwidth + node requirements) are less than the yield they generate on their staked ETH. This is unique to Eth. If you go down the list of L1s on CoinGecko, you will not see another chain in the same position. It’s incredibly underrated how important this is for the health of a chain. But it will come to light over time as the economic inefficiencies of other chains start to show.

Let’s be honest: most Web3 games are just fancy ponzis schemes. Early players win, late players get memes. So the real question is: how do we make these Web3 ponzi games sustainable? The answer starts with Web2 revenue - injecting real value into the system. That could mean: 👉 Monetizing content through creator tools 👉 Sponsoring real-world tournaments 👉 Running in-game ads with on-chain rewards 👉 Licensing white-label game engines/IP If there’s no money coming in from outside the chain, the pyramid collapses fast. Ponzi? Maybe. But sustainable Ponzi? That’s the real meta.

i spoke with hundreds' of founders YTD and can only attest to this crypto is becoming less and less attractive for builders if we don’t act in the past people could argue tokenization gave access to a global user base and liquidity pool now you're up against - increasingly dried up VC funding - increasingly aggressive listing agreements - ever-growing airdrop expectation relative to mkt liquidity - stigmatized selling regardless of business maturity or investment duration more and more are hoping to see: - transparency reform (eg financial reporting) - liquidity reform (exchange listings based on merit, not negotiations) - distribution reform (ICO vs airdrops) - accountability reform (holding bad actors accountable) and many more otherwise, we risk being left with no users, no builders - only a bunch of intermediaries it takes every one of us to do our part
