@fufftillow the episode of angel where they’re stomping around together looking hot just changed how i viewed their relationship entirely. like you can tell there’s always been a bit of competition between them but that felt very like “oh, maybe there’s a whole nother aspect here”

@avabluephoenix @fufftillow From how I understand it, usually the council finds potential slayers and have them trained like with Kendra. A slayer being called before the council has found them in unusual.

my hottest take is that dawn should’ve been created from faith because faith was the active slayer at that time

@mwheeler37 didn’t want to make it confusing to the potentials by going into the faith + buffy semantics and slayer line rules but it was still super odd i genuinely think the writers forgot about their own lore for a sec

@mwheeler37 exactly it didn’t make any sense. especially because buffy had already died and after her second death there was no new slayer and they all ( the scoobies and buffy ) knew that too, the only explanation is that they were just trying to tell the potentials the slayer lore and

@avabluephoenix conveniently forgot to warn him about her, it all reads as lack of communication between council slayer and watcher but then again it’s stated multiple times that the council doesn’t care for the slayers so I also don’t see them going above and beyond to warn multiple watchers
