@Prominent_Bryan I think Toronto Stadium is great. 45000 fans and very intimate stadium. You can have category 1 seats at Sofi for example and be seated in the 500 level. Toronto Stadium is a soccer specific stadium. Not hating other stadiums I care more about the level of soccer in the end.

I can't help but notice that Mexico and the US started their WC in amazing stadiums while Canada was pretty lame in Toronto. What a weak stadium They made a statement, we didn't

The empty seats at the BMO Field, Toronto Stadium for the World Cup says everything. FIFA made the ultimate error and shot themselves in the foot with the ticket prices. The average football fan can’t afford it and it’s an eyesore. A World Cup in a host nation and lots of seats.

@mdichter27 Yes! My company for 32 years. We don’t have the advertising dollars to market nationally.

We did it! FIFA forced to dump World Cup tickets into the secondary markets to avoid litigation from fans who purchased early on. Lower bowl tickets are now below $200 now for some World Cup matches. It’s almost time to buy.

The World Cup team with the largest decline in average ticket prices over the past 7, 14, and 30 days? Canada. Not what I would have expected. They've gone from one of the pricier teams to now being in the bottom half of the 48 team field sorted by average ticket price. That has got to be a 1st for a host nation.
