Let me give you a very quick breakdown of prior pricing: - $FTM Opera was priced at $3.50/USD in the last cycle at the peak of DeFi. - $FTM in anticipation of Sonic upgrade was $1.25/USD in early 2024 and then 1.43/USD in late 2024 around the current cycle altcoin market top. Let me give you a very quick breakdown of current pricing: - $S was priced at $1 after a short few months of Sonic mania in which over $1b in TVL was added ~ this was mostly against the market that bled out from Inauguration Day. - $S is currently -70% down from February highs or so, sitting around $0.30/USD Hence, with current pricing this is a rough 12x to prior cycle ATHs of $FTM, a 4.6x to early 2024 pricing, a 5.6x to current $FTM cycle highs and over a 3x to $S highs just a few months back. Most retail participants FUD their own bags and jeet when the best opportunities arise. Instead of logically understanding you have the best R:R at the lows here when the blockchain is better 100x over than the prior tech, we have native stables, we have the fastest most efficient EVM there is, we have the godfather of DeFi building several primitives including he greatest competitor to DEXs/CEXs there is, several major CEX listings internationally - including Coinbase which hosts 69% of all American spot trading, an airdrop occurring year round, foundation funds most likely to go back into Sonic ecosystem projects, and many many more catalysts. Hence, if you believe Q3 and Q4 are primed DeFi and Stablecoins upside, with rate cuts on the horizon, further money printing creating favourability for risk-on assets, further DeFi regulations approved in the states, such as the GENIUS stablecoin act and more, why wouldn’t you position yourself here? Why would you even consider selling? Some of us are built different - accumulating further and continuing to support the ecosystem, understanding the R:R price wise alongside the true utility and upside of this blockchain. Bullieve in something!! $ARB sitting 90% down at new ATL while their holders still beating the drums on "Arbitrum = DeFi capital of crypto" $AVAX bleeding back to 2022 bear levels after cascading all year yet community is supporting the foundation. $SOL down 50% from the start of the year and hasn't been anything more than the ultimate casino for degens this entire cycle Yet somehow I'm seeing fake Derps claiming they're "selling $S for other chains" like as if those other chains are about to moon to new ATH tomorrow with quick 100x returns. Absolute clown behavior. Y'all want charts?! Here's a chart for the thick skulled ones (Total2: your entire altcoin market) & BTC.D Total2/BTC has been cascading nonstop, specially since the start of the year, there's not a single chain out there that has outperformed $BTC lately so pointing out to $BTC's as a metric of success is stupid I get it bags down heavy = monkey brain feel rage & pain, but the brutal reality is the entire alt market is in this bearish phase and the ONLY thing that matters for making decisions is a project's fundamentals.
