Starting in the middle of the NFL season, out of a fit of frustration, I let my son Owen make my football picks for the office pool I’m in at iHeart. Somewhat incredibly, 2 weeks into the experiment he won the whole thing and we brought home $150 bucks. Since then, picking games has been a source of bonding for my son and I, so he’s been pretty pumped about baseball season since we can pick games everyday. So I go on the search for an app that allows you to make MLB picks in the same way you can with the NFL and it is like trying to find military codes. Then I realized I can just make my own contest where we pick straight up winners on Bettor Edge. So I’ll be launching daily contests in MLB, really just in an effort to make picks with my kiddo, but if you want in - it’s $1 to enter. Winner that day takes home the pot. Just know, that if you lose to me, you’re losing to a 6-year old savant. NEWS: I just decided that next week, I'll be putting in my two weeks and quit my day job. This will allow me to bet/"predict" full time & be more active in Discord & on social media. This decision is probably overdue, but I'm excited to finally be taking this step! Will be way faster at responding to DMs starting late next month - If you have any tips / suggestions on this switch, I'd love to be connect! Have already talked with a number of awesome people about this transition but if there are any tips from healthcare to little things I should know about or you just want to chat, my DMs are open as always.

Just found the first email Jessi sent me when she wanted an internship we were offering and did it ever make me smile. This was sent in January of 2007. Her enthusiasm from then to now didn't waver a bit. She knew exactly what she wanted. Fastest yes I ever gave.

Sports are trivial on a weekend like this. But she loved her Iowa State Cyclones. Today, for the first time, I was an ISU fan.

Gutted to hear the news. Jessi was one of the good ones, always there to lend a hand & a huge part of the early days on BettorEdge. She was a supermom, diehard cyclone & wild fan. I’ll miss our annual Cy-Hawk bet, but the catchups even more...hearts out to Mike, family & friends.

I have watched over 2000 college basketball games this season. At least. I can say with near-certainty that Arizona/Iowa State is the best one I've seen all year. Wow. College hoops.
