This notion - that v successful people who are smart in one area must be smart at all things - needs a name. It’s a variant of Dunning-Kruger but more about the perception of the person.

I’m just going to put it out there that there’s no reason to assume that people who are very successful or even very smart in one specific area should be listened to in others. Compare, if you feel like it, Elon’s absolute profound stupidity on politics and moderation.
