You can't call me coping here as I couldn't care less who won.
But surely you can't have an Umpire from the USA call an international game with their own country in.
90% of sports around the world would never allow that, I'm not saying he was bias but it's morally wrong.

As bad as the "If the Mariners lose 40 percent of their rotation, they won't be as good" take was, this one's fine.
If JP's shoulder is healthy but his defense is as bad as last year (~worst SS), their best alignment is probably something like 3B JP, SS Colt, 2B Donovan.

The Mariners should just make Colt Emerson the everyday SS. I get it, JP Crawford is good in the clubhouse or whatever. But he had a .370 slugging percentage with poor defense and baserunning last season. Emerson would raise the ceiling for this offense.
