Garver beats out Knizner, which I’m happy, and a little surprised about. Mariners clearly value Garv’s knowledge of the staff, and his ability to hit LHP. They’ll eat the $1 million of Knizner’s money, and Garv will make $2.25 million.

@MarinersSteve Does Vargas have options? A) he sucks, his stuff is awful. B) he’s been destroyed in the spring. He should in no way shape or form be locked into a roster spot. He can’t miss bats. I miss the days of us finding hidden gem relievers in spring. Been a few years now.
