@vividvoid Turns out his backstory is he was rich, did heaps of booze and drugs, unhappy with life, experiences komorebi after one bender, existential crisis ensures after which gives it all up and then lives out his current life, which is what we see.

The 1st time I saw this movie I was like, wow, this guy's an enlightened sage The 2nd time I saw it, I was like, oh, he has to live that way or he loses control and regresses into mental illness The 3rd time I saw it, I was like, yeah, this guy's an enlightened sage

having a small part of the second monitor, playing this live stream has been so helpful, if you're easily distracted like me, try this on the second monitor, you can easily view it for a few seconds, then get back to work youtube.com/watch?v=ErHJBX…

Woke up with a feeling of intense amount of energy in my body. Like it’s yearning to be alive and do something exciting today. So I decided to sit in front of the computer for the next 9 hours.

@pzakin what do you wanna do with all this thinking? Wouldn't the end point be to make something? If you want to reflect and learn, don't books/courses do the job there?

@swyx Yeah I think I expected we’d find a new form factor beyond chat that would help us elevate the quality of our thinking.

I’m still disappointed we haven’t seen a breakout “tool for thought” for the ai era.

@ybhrdwj @dimi3design imo product tours should be accessible at anytime, instead of being a 1 time thing + necessary for apps that look like this

@dimi3design when was the last time you didn't skip one? new users absoutely hate it + dont read it. just skip skip skip to main value screen. your product + copy should communicate the value not tooltips and tours

signs of taste in web ui: > every interaction happens in 100ms > no product tours > url /slugs are short and simple, no UIDs > persistent resumeable state > not more than 3 colors > no visible scrollbars > all navigation is under 3 steps > copyable svg logo + brandkit > skeleton loading states > copy paste from clipboard > larger hit targets for buttons/inputs > honest one click cancel > cmd + k > very minimal tooltips > copy is active voice, max 7 words per sentence > optical alignment vs geometric > optimized for L to R reading > reassurance about loss

why do politicians always use language peppered with words like "friendship, brotherly relations", if that exists, does it need to be stated all the time?

Excited to introduce Image Editor in FLORA A lot of the creative professionals we work with enjoyed using all the AI creative models in FLORA, but wanted to finish their work with traditional image editing control in FLORA too. So we built it in. We'll be adding additional control over the next few weeks as well.
FLORA ©@floraai

Image Editor is now live in FLORA. Composite, inpaint, outpaint, resize, split into layers. It’s a complete editing environment inside your generative workflow. Finish your ideas in FLORA.

“I can’t see you tonight, I’ve got plans” The plans: Legs up the wall!! One of the most underrated things you can do for your body (all the hot girls are doing it btw): zero equipment, cost or effort, and it works on nearly every level that actually matters. “Uh but why would I do that?” I’ll tell you why: When your legs are elevated above your heart, gravity does the work your sluggish lymphatic system is struggling with. Venous blood and lymph move back toward the torso, reducing swelling in the feet and ankles, relieving tired legs after hours of sitting or standing, and improving lymphatic drainage. Stagnant circulation promotes stress signals in your tissues. Fluid that isn’t moving freely = poor tissue oxygenation and waste buildup. Elevating the legs is one of the simplest ways to reverse that. This position naturally shifts your body into parasympathetic mode: the state responsible for recovery, digestion and cellular regeneration. You’ll notice slower breathing, lower heart rate, reduced stress hormones, a calmer mind. Stress physiology is catabolic. It drains energy and accelerates ageing. Relaxation supports mitochondrial function and repair. A posture that quiets the stress response (without supplements, protocols or spending a penny) is brilliant. This posture also unloads the spine, releases pressure in the lower back, and relaxes the hip flexors and hamstrings. Your body feels supported and safe, adrenaline and cortisol drop. Muscles and connective tissue release. A lot of people notice their body temperature warming slightly afterward; that’s improved circulation and reduced stress. Your metabolism is literally switching back on :) Improved venous return = more efficient blood flow. And it will reduce fatigue, help with mild headaches and promotes mental clarity. Good circulation and oxygen delivery support oxidative metabolism: the process that keeps your cells producing energy efficiently. When that process is impaired, everything suffers. When it’s supported, everything improves. It’s that straightforward. How to do it? Sure, I’ll tell you: Sit sideways next to a wall. Swing your legs up. Rest for 5–15 minutes. That’s it. Optional additions: a small pillow under the hips, red or warm light, slow nasal breathing. Works especially well before bed, after work, or after long periods of sitting. All the hot girls are doing legs up the wall and it combines circulation support, nervous system relaxation and gentle spinal decompression: a proper reset for the body with zero cost and zero risk. One of those rare things where the simplest answer is the best one :)

Top cities fitting the tweet: walkable with excellent buses/trains, thriving even if gas prices collapse. Tokyo (world-class rail), Paris (metro + boulevards), Hong Kong (MTR dense), London (Tube/buses), New York (subway everywhere), Singapore (MRT), Amsterdam (trams/walk), Barcelona (metro), Copenhagen (efficient), Berlin (U/S-Bahn). Car not needed.

I owe an apology. We ridiculed every dance trend on social media a couple years ago, but today I realize it was the most genuine and carefree time we've ever had. Keep dancing.

i did not expect to identify so deeply with the method of taking damage in sonic games: i accumulate bits of gold, then suddenly, i am struck by an unexpected force. the capital explodes out of me in all directions, i see and feel it recede from me. can i gather it again? unknown
