Anon post: I've been a head for 2 years and dread returning to school next week. Last term left me burnt out, barely functioning over the holiday. Emotional outbursts from parents and staff are overwhelming. How can I avoid this burnout again? I knew it would be a lonely job, but

BREAKING NEWS! This September we are launching #TeamTasking. Every half term @AlexHorne will set a task for groups of children to attempt in large teams. It will be perfect for competing in houses, form groups, across year groups and phases or in sporting or social clubs.

I absolutely love the look of the outside of our classrooms! Our Values on display for everyone to see! ❤️ Natural light through the top. You can't see in but you can see out! The children and staff love them too 😊

@dave_mcpartlin @Headteacherchat Agree. Three schools in the village in walking distance, one had an outstanding rating but it wasn’t the one we chose.

Wonder how many other teachers didn’t go with 0fsted report when choosing a school for their own child, but went for one that they liked on a visit & felt their child would be happy & well looked after. I know that’s what we did, we went with RI school & it was a great decision.

@Teacherglitter This was me, I asked twice. 🥲 Then got one as an adult from my lovely hubby and fully appreciated why my parents hadn’t bought me one 💕

My last post has shown there is a whole generation of adults still feeling the hurt they never got a Mr Frosty for Christmas
