Needed a reset after 'The Phone Call' last Monday. 📞😳 There's a lot I could say! But instead, I'll focus on my weekend: 🐷Too much food 📖Reading 🐕Dog walks 🎥Cinema 👬Friends ❤️Family Recharged and back to it tomorrow.

This weekend I dusted off my mixing bowl and baked a batch of flapjacks for the team at Jupiter Primary. Nothing fancy – and certainly not worthy of Bake Off status just yet – but hopefully tasty enough to sweeten the start of a great week for us all! 🧑‍🍳🧁

Off to a Head's Meeting...I come bearing gifts 🧁😅

The non-highlight to my holiday was yesterday, getting out of the sea (somewhere between Bay Watch and Blue Planet) and bumping straight into a family with 2 children from my school...marvellous! So today...hired a car and drove to a beach far, far away 😅

First year as a headteacher: done. A rollercoaster of emotions—held together by coffee, teamwork and chocolate. Roll on next academic year (though ideally, with more sleep😴😅). Now...ready for 🛫🏖
