The Netherlands has started a new megaproject, creating a new city in a lake. It will be called IJstad, and house 126.000 people. Making it one of the largest megaprojects worldwide! The Government has recently voted to move ahead with the first steps!

@joakial_ I will never board a driverless bus. For one it’s a disaster waiting to happen, and secondly a lot of people will probably loose their job.

For the first time in Norwegian history, a bus will carry passengers in regular traffic without any human behind the wheel. The first pilot without a safety driver was tested Friday, and if all goes as planned, anyone can ride driverless buses starting in May.

@createstreets Well technically the old terminal from Schiphol airport is at an museum, though it’s not the original but a reconstruction and not in it’s original location. But I fully get your point!

Amsterdam’s City Hall vs Rotterdam’s City Hall. Amsterdam just spent €4.6 million ‘renovating’ its council chamber in a sad and already dated millennial-gray scheme. This is an instance we can be thankful ‘Rotterdam is no Amsterdam’.
