My jaw, dropping: "There's no way you can hear me right now." Literal @projecthailmary: "Can hear." All my thanks to #projecthailmary for broadcasting the amaze response that @Astro_Jeremy, on his way to the moon, gave us @CanadaInSpace. Fist my bump. spaceq.ca/canadian-astro…

They went to the Moon. Tonight, they come home. 🌑 Tonight, Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, Mission Specialist Christina Koch, and Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen splash down in the Pacific and return home after traveling farther from Earth than any humans in history. Their portraits will shine on our Embassy walls through the end of April as we continue to celebrate the historic Artemis II mission.

The Southern Lights, with Canadarm2 photobombing. That huge robot arm put the International Space Station together. I spacewalked twice with @AstroDocScott to bolt it together - makes me proud to see it still fixing & maintaining the biggest outpost we've ever built in space. The ISS crew will be keenly watching Artemis 2 reenter that thin atmosphere soon. Holding their breath, like everyone else. (photo: @Astro_ChrisW) @nasa @csa_asc

Behind the four astronauts of Artemis II are hundreds of people tracking their every move: monitoring spacecraft systems, evaluating crew safety, and staying in constant communication. Let’s hear it for the team in Mission Control responsible for getting the astronauts around the Moon and safely home.

Artemis II is locked in 🔒 As they flew around the Moon, the Artemis II crew took turns capturing science data and taking photos out of the Orion spacecraft window to share with their team back on Earth.

The Artemis II astronauts recently showed off some of their historic cargo aboard the Orion spacecraft, including the American flag prepared for the Apollo 18 mission. The Apollo 18 and 19 missions were cancelled in September 1970 to focus on Skylab and developing the Shuttle.

The Artemis II crew had the rare chance to see a solar eclipse from space. 🚀🌘☀️ This video stitches together views from Orion's solar array wing cameras throughout the eclipse, showing the Sun as it disappears behind the Moon, revealing a glowing halo around the lunar disk.
