@idrawprobably You see a mental health specialist about the Self harm? Dysphoria and the lead up to gender reassignment surgery? Was your Dysphoria General/Psychiatric Dysphoria or Gender Dysphoria? Sorry but some of the above issues are Mental health issues. Which you should be supportive

Clearly, transition did not solve the problem. This is exactly the point. Gender identities are avatars that people create as a psychic escape from some other problem. They think it will help, but after transitioning realize that the cause of their unhappiness remains. It’s better to undergo psychotherapy and get at the root cause than to create a useless avatar.

@idrawprobably Dysphoria is a symptom of another underlying issue. Transitioning is a maladaptive coping mechanism. I get it. Some people can never address the underlying issue. But equally some eventually do - and regret the more permanent bodily damage due to transitioning.
