Anyone bleating about Gaza, watch this. Maybe you were ignorant. Maybe you never really thought about it. Those excuses are gone for you now. If you weren't ignorant, and you had thought about it, then you hate Jews. youtu.be/oYQXOdhoOxk?si… via @YouTube

Pretending that a classic gotcha style question is reasonable is quite audacious. I wasn't born yesterday so thankfully I am prepared for the deployment of this question which is not a genuine inquiry seeking clarity, but rather a rhetorical trap designed to force me into a binary framing that would have me either concede the core premise of gender-critical views or open myself up to yet further torrents of abuse and accusations of denialism/bigotry. The question is a trap because it pretends biology is the only relevant axis while activists simultaneously demand that sex be overridden in every policy domain that matters for sex-based rights. If it were simply a reasonable question being asked in good-faith honest discourse then you would be willing to consider that while 'sex' is binary (male/female) with rare DSDs/intersex conditions as developmental variations that don't create a spectrum or third sex. And yet identity deserves compassion, not erasure of material reality. Gender dysphoria is real and distressing for those who experience it. You know as well as I do that this isn't a simple matter of what sex a person was at birth but rather the complex reality of gender identity and affirmation. We all know the answer to your question from a pure biology standpoint. But we also know that biology is not the sole factor in this discussion. I'm super busy so I won't be responding further to you which is my choice to make.

@msjlindsay Juno Dawson who believes boys can turn into girls is judging the Bookseller/EIBF YA prize. Dawson's a prime example of a mind that needs to change, though fat chance of that.

There's much else that could be said, but a striking thing about EIBF is that, again, the ethos and theme seems to be 'if you are certain about anything at all, that is very wrong.' It's offensive on many levels, not least because some things genuinely are true and some things really are not, and changing your mind on something you are correct about is stupid. But it is precisely why we are in the shit, this. It's a recipe for stasis; a celebration of fence-sitting while really bad things happen; and, in terms of the gender wars, it is bystanding severe abuse - and once again, there is literally zero representation of 'gender critical' women, who, one presumes, are the ones the EIBF thinks need to 'change their mind'. It's extremely offensive. As if any of us didn't ask ourselves the 'what if I'm wrong?' question bloody years ago. We did. We've done that work. We've read all the stuff, we've debunked the arguments, we've looked for any chance for consensus, we've learnt the law upside-down and back to front. It's goddam time for the 'other side' to do so and to stop pissing about, sometimes literally.

Lets be clear here; transphobes & terfs are bigoted. You do not represent the majority of women or even the majority viewpoint of women on these issues. Being inclusive of Trans people is not an attack on women or women's rights. As we have seen this isn't merely about men who transition to women but also women who transition to become men. You're attacking and hating on both these vulnerable groups, singling them out, and encouraging discrimination, hatred and violence towards them.

After decades of women being told they're bigoted for fighting to retain female single sex spaces, or refusing to call men she/her, or objecting to children being medicalised life, Gary here comes along to say that nothing is being demanded from women.
Gary Spedding@GarySpedding

@Susanshox Again, no. There are no demands being made for women to sacrifice anything or orient themselves to anything. Why do you hate Trans people so much?

Maybe we should establish annual awards for the worst journalism inspired by Gender Woo. The prize for the winner can be an entry on the sex offenders register for assisting perverts to commit their crimes and evade punishment. Today's nomination: Iwan Gabe Davies. @barrydistrict
Janet Murray@jan_murray

This @barrydistrict story is an embarrassment to journalism. Readers are told a "woman" masturbated in front of nurses. They are then told the prosecutor said: "The defendant put her hands down her leggings to the groin area. Staff could see that she had her penis in her hand and that her hand was moving up and down." "Her penis." To be fair to the reporter, he is accurately reporting what was said in court. But that means the pronouns change from female to male halfway through the story. And journalism is supposed to help readers understand what happened by reporting material facts clearly and accurately. Not require them to perform mental gymnastics in order to make sense of the story. This kind of reporting is confusing, absurd and frankly beneath the standards journalism should aspire to. And it shows exactly what happens when gender ideology is allowed to dictate public life - including the legal system and the media. Link in comments 👇

The second trial, with eight of the Filton 25, has begun today at the Old Bailey. However, security are denying entry to all the family members and loved ones, demanding they have two forms of ID. This rule has never been used before, and is clearly an intimidation tactic.

Ridiculous gaslighting once again. How dare you conflate male gynaecomastia with the coerced compulsion to remove healthy, normal female developing breasts. They're not fucking boys and never will be male. Regardless of the use of the outrageous long term use of toxic shite like Zoladex and Lupron and the barbaric and totally unnecessary mutilation. You are a complete ghoul and should never be near children. Shame on you. Once again.

Dear Lush (cc Chelmsford City Council), As a woman who had half a breast removed last year due to cancer, I am writing to raise my concerns about your “Proud of My Stripes” window display. I am also, on behalf of other women who have experienced breast cancer, respectfully requesting its removal. Because mastectomies are not a fashion statement, an identity marker or something to be celebrated. They are something women undergo because they are ill, because they are frightened, because they are trying to stay alive. Around 59,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK every year. Many will undergo surgery - a mastectomy, lumpectomy or other procedure. Others choose preventive mastectomies because they carry a high-risk BRCA gene mutation. If a woman chooses to have her breasts removed to affirm a gender identity, that is her personal choice. I honestly don’t know the number of women who have elective mastectomies for this reason. What I do know is that it is a tiny number compared with those for whom breast surgery is medically necessary and not something to be celebrated. I think I speak for many women who have experienced breast cancer - and for their families - when I say this: Breast removal surgery is not something I regard as cute, playful or empowering. Nor is it something I believe retailers should be celebrating. For that reason, I am requesting that the display be removed and that @ChelmsCouncil apologise for promoting it on social media. Yours sincerely, Janet Murray

France is so far gone down the gender hole. In these guidelines, a government agency describes a scenario in which a man pretending to be a woman goes to the doctor pretending to have premenstrual symptoms. The doctor refuses to believe him, so the imaginary troon is advised to report the doctor and get him or her sanctioned. dilcrah.gouv.fr/files/2026-03/…
