Incredible that Steve Reed MP is today presenting a Bill on Foreign Interference in UK Politics without declaring he is a member of Labour Friends of Israel and has previously accepted donations from this Israeli lobby group. 🤯🤯

@WalksLulu @JeremyArnold31 @harrowonline Sorry to hear about your experience. Catch 22. The clubhouse is a huge ongoing expense with crippling rates and energy bills in particular. It does ok revenue wise, but not enough to tackle major issues. Hence a reason for new major investment.

@james_clouting @JeremyArnold31 @harrowonline The whole experience for me, was the worst I’ve had, sadly. The clubhouse building reeked of damp/mould. Very unpleasant. The toilets in the ground were grim. The whole place felt like a concrete jungle and had no character whatsoever unfortunately.

Harrow Borough FC, founded in 1933, could face closure at the end of this season without urgent financial support. Full story on our website.

@JeremyArnold31 @harrowonline Appreciate your concern Jeremy. More people through the turnstile would certainly help, but there's a bit more to it. Hopefully we'll see some new faces on Saturday for Non League Day.

@harrowonline Why aren't the people supporting them? I'm a hendon coming in peace. Yes there is Barnet and formerly Wealdstone in the borough playing at a higher level. Yes, the demographics of South Harrow aren't full of football fans. But surely the club can survive, people of Harrow?!

@WalksLulu @JeremyArnold31 @harrowonline Can you define horrible please. Certain things need some TLC, but there are far worse grounds. RL has a good set up in some ways. However, you're unable to stand behind one of the goals and all seats, of which there aren't many, are at pitch level.

@JeremyArnold31 @harrowonline Horrible ground - literally not one positive about it. Been once and would never go back. Rayners Lane have a much nicer set up. If it was a choice of the two, I’d have no doubt about where I’d go.

We must all be tolerant of Muslims worshipping in public. But Jewish people can't go to a football match in Birmingham. See the hypocrisy now.

London is the UK CAPITAL Why is it being turned into an Islamic Republic?! I want Union Jacks, cups of tea and cockneys back. I don’t want women NOT wearing hijabs to be the minority in 10 years time. Our country is weak, weak, weak. We can’t even stand up for our own culture.

Mandelson’s appointment has dragged our party into the gutter. Collusion between figures in Labour Together and the PM’s top team signals a deeply embedded culture of deception. We need a fully independent inquiry into all those who enabled this catastrophic abuse of power.

Starmer will win the next election. Not because he’s loved. Not because he’s a visionary. Not because he’s Labour. But because he is, in the end, a calm head, whose two main challengers are patently unserious ideologues, who show themselves daily to be unsuitable for the role.

The Gaza Tribunal paints a bleak picture of UK governments' failure to prevent genocide and complicity in atrocities against Palestinians. We support demands for transparency, boycotts and sanctions, and an end to all arms sales and intelligence sharing. End the genocide.

Spot on. We’ve come to fetishise “local representatives” far too much, a symptom of our politics becoming smaller and more parochial. What we need is quality national politicians. If they have to be “parachuted” in, and they spend more time in SW1 than the constituency, so be it.

I told David Lammy the Greens are forecast to win in Tottenham. He said: “I can 100% tell you that there is no prospect of the Greens taking my constituency. Absolutely none at all.”
