@KevinEspiritu The meds’ negative impact on my ability to exercise was the reason I went for the cardiac ablation surgery despite trying the meds for several months. So, so glad to be off them now, and my arrhythmia has not returned.

Celebrated 37 years old by barely getting out of the hospital in time to...sleep almost 12 hours on these new meds 💀 Learned a ton about atrial fibrillation the last few days - appreciate those of you who helped me out in DMs. Some health changes I'm making: - Caffeine intake -> 0 - Alcohol -> 0 (was close, but now committing to none) - Got a Samsung Galaxy Ultra, which can do on-the-fly ECG readings and detect heart arrythmias - Back to walking daily There's an interesting "trap" with this diagnosis, though - the meds that prevent future events also fatigue you and as far as I can tell, cause weight gain via a lowered BMR / activity level. They literally make your heart beat less frequently, which to me would actually impact your true BMR, along with fatigue likely decreasing your amount of calories burned via activity. So, eating @ same level would lead to weight gain, which is a downward spiral. Looking for ways to get out of that trap. If anyone has suggestions I'm all ears - historically diet is a tougher solve for me than exercise.

@benthompson I’m betting their greater focus on the stuff that can be done in isolation is a bootstrapping strategy to get through initially tiny network of other buyers. They may not have FB’s lust for 500-friend networks, but I think they’re passionate about connecting families.

It’s far better than I expected, and I had high expectations.

@daringfireball Bob Dole’s guff about an independent movie he hadn’t seen is indeed problematic, but if he’d already seen Phantom Menace and AoTC, maybe you’d have cut him some slack for calling for Lucas’ arrest before watching Hayden Christensen a 3rd time.

@djghostmare @daringfireball My guess on the Arial font is that internal Apple counsel and external Apple counsel are collaborating via Google Docs, where Arial is the default font. Which makes perfect sense for a Google product.

@daringfireball My understanding is that some courts have specific font reqs. In certain cases, it is fairly specific. In others, less so. Yet, like writing papers in APA, They may be discouraged from using anything that doesn’t come standard with MS Word. Is there a lawyer in the house?
