I’ve never followed a diet in my life. Never counted calories. I never look at nutrition labels. I’ve never starved myself. I don’t even go to bed hungry. I’m almost 40 now and I’ve never been fat. That’s because I exercise and I don’t overdo it on the sweets and fried food. It’s not a complicated equation.

It’s not complicated. Just don’t eat a lot of junk food or fast food, go easy on the snacks, get some exercise. You’ll be fine.

@DavidBCollum Dave have you looked at the NNT (number needed to treat) for statins? The amount they move the needle just appears minimal from every hint I’ve seen. And at worse they can cause problems.

If you've gone on statins, I would love to hear your experience. (It is not for me but for my wife.) One doc says definitely and another says she doesn't need them. I'm biased against them. Anecdotes appreciated as well as wisdom.
