Tropical activity in the Atlantic, measured by Accumulated Cyclone Energy, is the lowest through Aug 10th since 2009. Still, about 90% of typical activity comes after today, and some similarly slow starters like 2019, 1999, and 1998 ended up very active. michaelrlowry.substack.com/p/can-the-atla…
