I want to thank two female assistants at @bmstores Ashton-under-Lyne who loaded heavy bags of stones into the boot of my car. I hadn’t asked them but they insisted and they stayed with the loaded trolley until I moved my car to the entrance. That is excellent service!

What a shambles @BeeNetwork I have been sitting along with lots of other passengers at Ardwick bus depot for a replacement driver to arrive. The original driver has been ringing to find out where they are. Taken hour for a journey from Denton to Manchester. Car next time.

Well done to @Clyde1News @mollytulett for their reporting of the Glasgow fire last night. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to separate AI from the truth, and in situations such as these, it’s even more important that the truth is told with clarity and accuracy. Clyde used video throughout the evening to illustrate the devastating destruction, and exemplified why outlets such as this are so important when it comes to breaking news on the ground.

Heart breaking to share the news that we've lost the great 'JV' John Virgo this morning, he passed away in Spain. Rosie and Brooke-Leah would like everyone to know. Our hearts go out to them both, Gary and the grandchildren. JV was doing what he loved to do right up until the end, entertaining everyone. Such an important person in my life but in our sport in general. An amazingly loyal friend to me, and someone you felt was sat with you at the match when he was commentating on TV. Hard to take this one...one great person who touched so many lives and loved the game. We will never forget you bud. RIP JV
