@itsnwts yea but thats the feminists who believe in true equality and actually want to split bills but most of them still want a "provider"

HOT TAKE: Feminists actually respect men more than pick me tradwives' do. Tradwives reduce you to a paycheck and a bodyguard. They just want a tool, not a partner. Feminists demand more from you because they know you're capable of more. They want emotional intelligence, shared responsibilities, and an authentic human being, not a 'provider' robot. Stop confusing 'submissiveness' with respect. Feminism is actually the one wanting to share the weight of the world with you. Let that sink in.

women: “if men disappeared for one week, we could FINALLY breathe... calm our nervous systems... walk alone at 3 AM, not get creepy comments about our looks constantly... life would be AMAZING, with an incredible sisterhood!” men: “but who would protect you?” women: “protect us……. from who?”

@johnsmithrh8ne @aglassbrightly1 @aimeeterese No if two people aren't having sex & it's not a medical reason then there is something broken in the relationship. The goal is to fix that. Counseling, talking to them, trying to fix whatever is broken. Cheating is never okay. If you can't work it out then you leave

Willingly having sex for reasons other than personally being horny IS consensual. For example whores do it for money, middle class whores do it to lock down a man early in the relationship (then get married & start witholding it). As for duty, yes you have obligations to other people generally, and specifically when you take vows to love and cherish them til death do you part. If your husband wasn’t in the mood to go to work, would you just tolerate life without a steady breadwinner earning an income? Or would you expect him to figure that shit out and pull his weight in the relationship, for the sake of you and the children? And if he failed to, would you take matters into your own hands and either become the breadwinner yourself thereby rendering him redundant (at which point you would likely cheat on him & dissolve the relationship) or find another man willing to fulfill that role since he won’t? If the answer to either is yes, then you understand all the elements at play here, you’re just being wilfully obtuse.

@aimeeterese All these to words to endorse duty sex for shitty men. Anything but consent

Once again, even though women make up the majority of educators, male educators still commit 85% of sexual assaults.

Men should always take their daughters who need to use the restroom to the men’s bathroom with them. Women stop allowing fathers enter the women’s bathroom using their daughters as an excuse. Either the girls enter the women’s bathroom alone, or their father takes them with him to the men’s bathroom. On a daily basis when women say men are not safe, men harm women, etc and express our various concerns about men, men dismiss it, laugh, call women liars, hysterical etc Yet even the most misogynistic of men suddenly remembers that “men are scum” when his daughters need to use the bathroom away from home. I thought men were wonderful, women are false accusers, men never do anything bad, women are just making it up to paint men bad. How come you can’t take your daughters into the men’s bathroom with you? Is there anything you people are doing in there besides peeing? Also women’s right to privacy is absolute. We do not and must not sacrifice our privacy to allow a father to come into the women’s bathroom. Let him carry his daughters into the bathroom he is entitled to enter where they can be under his supervision. After all, women don’t enter the men’s bathroom to help little sons pee. We carry little boys into the women’s bathroom and don’t violate the privacy of men. Men should do the same.

@GoodTexture Women initiate divorce far more than men, and it isn't because the men are treating them wonderfully and are a pleasure to share life with. Hope that helps.

Contrary to their online bravado, men have far less access to sexual options than women do. If they did, most would likely never marry. And porn and OF wouldn't have the market it does. Women desire marriage far more than men - despite having more access to sexual options - because sex isn't their driving motivator for relationships (even if they really enjoy making love). Male lust is indiscriminately abundant and because of that, is of very low value. The primary reason most men enter into marriage is because they truly believe it entitles them to unfettered access to sex, regardless of the circumstances or full consent of the woman. It is their driving motivator. That's why they cry, scream, throw up, have tantrums like toddlers, engage in guilt trips, manipulation, and justify their cheating when they don't receive what is "owed" to them for their "commitment" whenever they want. The sooner women accept that most (not all, but most) men are like this, they will begin rejecting marrying as a conscious choice. We are seeing this start to happen. Men claim this is the result of "feminism", when feminism was simply the response to it.
Lauren@gothamshitty

Nothing rips off the veil of romance that usually shrouds marriage quite like the discourse on “duty sex.” When it gets down to it many men will admit the core logic of the marriage contract is structured by male sex right.

I know people are split on this, but I’m not. My husband and my dad would’ve never walked into a women’s restroom. Ever. When our daughter was little and I wasn’t with them, my husband took her into the men’s room. Did he love it? No. Are men’s bathrooms usually gross? Yes. But public bathrooms are gross in general. Nobody is sitting down comfortably in either one like they’re at home. I wish every place had a family restroom. That would solve a lot of this. But they don’t, and you still have to make the best decision in the moment. For me, that decision is not a grown man going into the women’s restroom. If the concern is cleanliness, then are we saying dads should start bringing little boys into the women’s restroom too? Because little boys are also children. They also deserve clean bathrooms. That argument falls apart pretty fast. Use the men’s stall. Stand guard. Bring wipes. Bring sanitizer. Put toilet paper down. If you’re worried about stall gaps, keep a towel or blanket in the car. It may not be ideal, but parenting is full of “not ideal.” Men do not belong in women’s restrooms. And I don’t think that should be controversial.
