@sayeh_so Hi, Please DM me directly for my email and details about the application process. The rough area is around demand estimation and algorithmic pricing.

@jonathaneyer Hi Jonathan, I’m interested in learning more about the position. Thanks!

@arpitrage Not sure about number of words but there are 400+ Chuck Tingle stories. Please do that with Chat GPT.

I'm hiring a data scientist/economist based in Guadalajara. A great opportunity for an IO/demand PhD grad or a data scientist with experience in pricing. jobs.hp.com/jobdetails/177…
English

@eugelin06 Buddy you hang out with way too many economists to think any of us know what this means.
English

@J2dubyas Gonna be rough times in the ready to eat cereal industry. Not sure about anyone else.

@CaltechEconThry @PhilipGreenspun The average person in Pasadena has 1.044 ovaries. Y'all theorists are so sloppy with your empirics
English

@PhilipGreenspun Yes. Also the average person in Pasadena has one ovary.

@besttrousers @jt_kerwin I think my headline result was a stats error so hopefully not. I already told you the funny part.
English

@jonathaneyer @jt_kerwin Working paper version available anywhere?
English

@ElaineLiuEcon I set each group up with their own Google drive folder and Google sheet for the write up. No deniability or arguments on who wrote what.
English

@fl4bbergasted @ryxcommar Did you check that in python? There's a pretty well known bug showing that error.
English

You're close! Not bad for a beginner at math. (I assume you're still in university? 😅) As someone with a little bit more experience than you at math, no offense, if your math was correct, going down 10% then back up 10% would equal out to the same number at the end!
Dennis Stout@stoutde
@ryxcommar 10% of 10 is 1, 10 - 1 = 9 10% of 9 is 0.9, 9 + 0.9 = 9.9

@jondr44 @mlegower @jiafengkevinc Mike,
Jonathan and Kevin are weakening the value of a product I bought (stata) with their behavior. Can we have an investigation and break them up?
English

@mlegower @jonathaneyer @jiafengkevinc If you want E[Y(1)]/E[Y(0)], then sure.
If you want an "average proportional effect", then no.
English

@just_cameron @Andrew___Baker Wow I was thinking of the other Andrew wardrobe scandal
