@SimmerVigor @hnasr For radio.garden we can only support http streams, if our site is loaded through http. Because of this feature, we have to hide 20% of stations when web users are force upgraded to https.

@SimmerVigor @hnasr If only this was configurable. In its current form, it breaks the ability to simultaneously serve http and https from the same domain on Cloudflare – since it signals that all all useful HTTP resources on the origin are reachable over HTTPS.

Fantastic idea to add alt-svc header in early hints, I don’t see why browsers that support 103 wouldn’t act on it its just another header.

Fun question: will browsers accept/act on an alt-svc HTTP/3 advertisement in a 103 Early Hints over HTTP/2? (for "faster" switch to H3) It seems allowed per-spec, but not sure what's implemented. @tunetheweb @patmeenan @SimmerVigor @kazuho

Here's a 1930s version of the Radio Garden: the Austrian-built Ingelen Geographic radio that had a map of Europe in place of a conventional dial; tiny lights, powered by a forerunner of fiber optics, would indicate the location of each tuned station.
