@IvyMarine1908 @samfbiddle Lot of offices will just blanket redact all names. In those cases its them playing it safe and being a little lazy. You always have your appeal rights if you are unsatisfied with your request.

@samfbiddle I once got a FOIA response where even my own name was redacted - for a FOIA I requested. Most government FOIA office personnel are pure fraud!!

@Blaine39 @jeeyonshim Growing up in a small town there were 5-6 factions in my own town. Not to mention the different ones in the next couple towns.

@jeeyonshim As mentioned, all the factions do help drive the tension, but I think you can easily manage that, and I find leaning on friends and rivals works just as well for driving tension.

@madadric @jeeyonshim People tend to not move out of their small communities so you often get generational rivalries that nobody really knows why it exists. If you did like a rural county, you could have 3-4 cities of 2000-5000 people each with several "factions". Gosh that hits close to home.

@madadric @jeeyonshim Even then, the rivalries with the next closet town are often very real and I've seen a few physical altercations at HS basketball games between my school and the other local area schools.

Someone can be wildly successful yet still incredibly depressed. Their successes don't invalidate the depression.
