I used to think languages like OCaml and Haskell are superior because they allow you writing elegant bug-free code.

So, hang on to Garver because a replacement will cost an excessive amount? And won’t have the “ceiling” of Garver?
Pretty much the same situation with Abreu in Houston. The roster spot and opportunity were important enough for the Astros to make the call.

@BaseballGeek72 You can’t release Garver. Then you’re going to pay another backup catcher to have a lot lower ceiling for offense. Doesn’t make any sense. Haniger is the only real vet and leader. But his production has been awful. They’ll trade him this offseason with a prospect

These #mariners losses don’t bother me so much anymore. This team is not built to be competitive. Only reason anyone acts like things matter is because the division sucks.
