Houston has the Galveston coast and lots to do. I’m not sure about Dallas proper or are you going to be working in a satellite city around the Dallas Fort Worth area? Houston is fine. Dallas is fine. I’d pick Houston because I’m from the Houston area. You can DM me if you want to know areas to avoid in Houston. :)

The best part of finishing a crochet project is forgetting how much work it was. This Northern Lights-inspired blanket was fiddly, time-consuming, and occasionally tested my patience. And I am in love with it! And yet… I’m already excited for the next one.

Whilst queuing for coffee this morning, I found myself inadvertently eavesdropping on a conversation between two middle-aged, female Sussex supporters. Have you ever overheard someone so stupid you can hear them misspelling words as they talk? It was quite extraordinary. By the end of it, I wasn’t entirely certain whether I needed a cappuccino or a neurological assessment.🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🎩

For years, I've had this relaxing ritual that I do right before I go to bed: I pick a town on the map and look at its online real estate listings. What you see below is not unusual in the Midwest or Southeast. I don't understand why certain types of like-minded people or creatives (like painters and writers) don't work together in a group to buy up property (especially dirt-cheap Main Street storefront property with upstairs loft living space) in these towns. This type of cooperative approach would be a hedge against moving to a place only to find that you can't relate to the people there.

@StoreyLine @LairdOfThManor TimTams in the States are not as good. I was excited to find them, then disappointed.

@jule425 @LairdOfThManor I'm in the States and find TimTams at several grocery stores. Our son has loved these ever since he was a kid. TimTams and Stroopwaffles...lol. he's a man with refined taste ;)
