genuinely the idea of “men are inherently bad because they are men” is just a repackaged “boys will be boys” that absolves shitty men of blame instead of taking accountability and facing consequences for their horrible actions

@kingcryopunk it’s almost like a generalization about men is different from a statement about a specific group of marginalized people or something. notice how “all X men are trash” where x is any other group sounds insanely racist/ableist/etc depending on what group you put there
