To the Black people coming after me for not standing with Karmelo Anthony: I don’t have to support him just because he’s Black. I don’t owe him allegiance. I don’t owe him loyalty. I don’t owe him silence. A kid is dead. A family is destroyed. And yes, that child happened to be white. Too many of you are only defending Karmelo because he is Black. If the races were reversed, a lot of you would be screaming from the rooftops and demanding justice every single day. So miss me with the fake outrage. Austin also had poor impulse control and judgment. I'm revealing a shocking truth that you cannot handle. Austin ultimately made a choice that cost him his life. If he had chosen differently, he most likely would still be alive today... because people die every day, but he definitely wouldn't have been killed by Karmelo Anthony then. If Karmelo wanted to kill anyone, he would have targeted the people under the tent just for fun. So, you can ignore the facts; because every action has a reaction, and clearly both Austin and Karmelo made their own choices. 🤷🏾‍♂️

You said all of that but have yet to address the real truth. The truth of the matter is that Karmelo was the one who ultimately made a decision that cost Austin his life because there were other, much better alternatives. Like not being in a place where he didn't belong, and not using a knife when he was pushed, because it certainly wasn't a life-threatening situation. So, while you are entitled to every emotion and opinion, you have no moral ground to make your selective judgment.
