@cpeedell Oh no Clive! I know what you're saying but one farm and it's a whole bunch of fields so loads of signs from 1 muppet. My dad is a farmer and argued against Brexit. Loads of Dr politicians are Tories but we're not all bad.

One of the groups I have least sympathy for are Farmers. Field after field after field filled with “Vote Leave” signs a few years ago. You literally reap what you sow. #Brexit #EconomicFailure #Austerity #InheritanceTax

@dr_ianjackson I'm first to uni too. My brothers are farmers
The income I have as a doctor dwarfs my farming family yet they can't make any money without the land, machinery and stock that would be reduced
It's possible to be asset rich and not have income or security

I absolutely love this - when standing around having coffee always leave a gap / empty chair to enable someone else to join.

We need both divergent thinking (generating a wide range of views, ideas or possibilities) & convergent thinking (evaluating, comparing & narrowing down choices) if we want to find better solutions. Too often, we leave out the divergent phase altogether or we don't involve enough diverse voices for truly divergent thinking. Diversity & divergent thinking together can make a massive difference to outcomes:

I have realised the real benefit of the hospital accommodation my generation got wasn't so much that it was free (honestly, some of it wasn't worth paying for!). But that we didn't have to stress about finding somewhere to live at short notice.

A month ago tomorrow I asked NHSE's press office how many graduating doctors had been left with an unallocated F1 position. I've heard it could be up to 1000 and some could only be told where they are going in July - less than a month before they are due to start work 1/2

There is no ‘backstory’ to ending of 2/care @NHSPracHealth other than (we’re told) - no budget. To remind, it was established following suicide of a psychiatry who also killed her baby and highlighted the barriers doctors have in accessing mental health care.
