The casino is one of the most depressing places in the world A few years ago, a mission companion flew into Utah from Sweden for a visit. This was his first time in the U.S. and he wanted to go to Las Vegas and play roulette. So I took him down. When we got to Caesar's Palace, one of the other roulette players complained about running out of money and said "I guess I'll just take from my grandkids' college funds now." The dealer at the table was horrified and spoke up about it. Gambling is an insane addiction. Truly believe we'd be significantly better off without casinos, sports betting, etc.

@Manhattva My friend had access to a CyberBeast the other day. We took it for a spin and oh my what a machine! It was also my first time using full self drive and that was a cool experience.

Full self driving is getting so incredibly good. At a stoplight, a car from oncoming traffic needs to get through,— so the Cybertruck measures the distance of the car behind me, puts itself in reverse, and gives the minivan enough room to turn left.

2 meals a day had been a game changer for me! Each meal is full of single ingredient satiating foods and I don’t count a single calorie. 2 meals gives your body a good break from always digesting food too. Have you guys tried 2 meals a day!?

What your children really want for dinner is you! In an age of constant online connection, we may need to disconnect from technologies and other distractions to truly reconnect with our families. Families grow stronger when they set aside these distractions and spend meaningful time together—learning eternal values like the importance of marriage and children, the purpose of life, and the true source of joy. Parents also have a duty to teach their children practical knowledge apart from gospel principles. Families unite when they do meaningful things together. Happy family experiences strengthen family ties. Camping, sports activities, and other recreation are especially valuable for bonding families. Some may say, “But we have no time for any of that.” To find time to do what is truly worthwhile, many parents will find that they can turn their families on if they all turn their technologies off. What those we love need most is simply time with us. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, is our ultimate role model. He will help us as we strive to build these family bonds.

I am at the McGraw Hill sales meeting in Phoenix, AZ, and the number of medical schools buying Boards and Beyond and First Aid for their students is exploding. Amazing sales growth. It’s always been crazy to me that students have to buy all these resources for themselves. Great to see more and more schools recognizing their value for learning.

Spotify needs to release a “kids” setting so I can play all the songs my kids listen to without it affecting my own Discovery algorithm. Insane that I can’t do this already. My Discover Weekly is just nursery songs and Moana. @Spotify please fix this.

@SpartanHoops_DK To me it starts in the paint. If they can get a paint touch they have a good possession. When they abandon the paint because they can’t get the pass there, or they just forget about it, the offense gets very stale.

Pretty gross start AGAIN. Team has just not gotten off well to start these games. It’s hard to blame Fears with how well he’s played but he HAS to be the attacking catalyst from the get go. Paint touches and rim pressure over and over again. Can’t settle for 4-5 jumpers to start.
