I went through Dave Ramsey early on and it changed my life. Love this idea. Definitely lived like no one else (used Kia, small house, cheap vacations, second hand clothes) so now I can live like no one else (dream car, nice home, 5-star resorts, whatever clothes I want). Would love to hear just his whole take on delayed gratification. At its core I think social media has made this even harder for most Americans. Impatience usually leads to poor decisions over a longer time horizon. Patience has the opposite effect for most. As an entrepreneur I think Dave Ramsey is even more powerful because risk from a position of strength is like a superpower vs. risk from a position of desperation.

My 4-year-old asked me to go for a ride on his pedal bike, which he has never done and we haven't tried in about 4 or 5 months. The last time we tried he was completely incapable of doing it by himself but today he sat on the bike and before I could even help him go, he started pedaling perfectly and now he rides a big boy bike just like that. If you need me, I'll be crying profusely in a corner
