@MeshCampaign @carlheneghan Prof Cardozo performed my TVT Mesh Implant. Which I had problem with within a week of implant. She said my pain wasn’t the Mesh she said I has a bowel prolapse, which was causing my pain. Advise from a Dr friend of my in laws I cancelled that op.

@MeshCampaign I was in hospital over Christmas just passed with a nasty UTI & Kidley infection, 2 male Dr’s mention Mesh to me. One said you do know what’s causing your problems, the Mesh. Another said you have Mesh in you, don’t you, I said yes & he shook his hea do from side to side.

Every day on #slingthemesh we see members going to A&E or their GP for mesh complications & are faced by blank stares from people who've STILL not heard about the surgical mesh scandal 😢 Sadly theres also nurses caring for women post mesh removal that haven't heard of it either

This article suggests mesh injured women asked for financial redress of £25K. This sum is an insult for the suffering of our members who innocently trusted doctors, and had their lives completely ruined by a tiny piece of plastic mesh

@Fossa79 @MeshCampaign Congratulations a lucky escape. I was in hospital over Christmas on IV Antibiotics for a nasty UTI / Kidney infection, came out the 27th on oral antibiotics, for 10days, 5 days after finishing meds I’mback in antibiotics for another UTI. 24yrs of this.

@MeshCampaign I was lucky enough to avoid mesh surgery, thanks to your campaign and all those brave ladies speaking out. But found theres been no alternative care, just left to get on with it. Gps gatekeep everything.

Pelvic floor exercises and lifestyle changes can help to improve #prolapse symptoms, but sometimes medical treatment is needed such as vaginal pessaries - if surgery is needed please choose non-mesh options! bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotla…
