Trump: "For generations Miami has been a haven for those fleeing communist tyranny in South Africa. I mean, if you take a look at what's going on in parts of South Africa. Look at South Africa, what's going on. Look at South America, what's going on. You know, we have a G20 meeting in South Africa. South Africa shouldn't even be in the Gs anymore. Because what's happened there is bad. I'm not going."

Trump on tariffs: Our greatest wealth probably proportionately was in the 1880s.. we had so much much money all from tariffs… then you had the depression. A lot of people said tariffs caused it. They didn't, tariffs came in 1932 after the depression.

When John Lennon met Yoko Ono in 1966, he fell head over heels in love. He dropped his first wife, Cynthia, like a hot potato. He had an affair and married Yoko in early 1969. He gave his ex only a stipend as a divorce settlement, although he knew Cynthia was going to have to support and raise their son, Julian, who was then just five years old. After a few years, Cynthia was soon almost flat broke, she knew she would have to get some money together in order for she and Julian to survive. She made a necessary decision, she would sell the love letters and drawings John had given her when they were a young couple, in love, in their teens. The letters were very passionate, filled with “I love you, Cyn” quotes. You can imagine how much it must have hurt Cynthia to have to part with these priceless keepsakes. Cynthia sold them for a large amount. The buyer was Paul McCartney. Paul had paid a small fortune for the mementoes. A few days later, Cynthia received all the letters and drawings in the mail, now all neatly framed. They came with a note. The note read: “Never sell your memories. Love, Paul McCartney”.

Good morning, everyone! He was sold to the American people, not as an 'elderly man with poor memory,' but as the leader who would bring peace and order to the world, rebuild US ties with the world, bring back U.S. troops from Afghanistan, end all wars, and show that America was back after Trump. But now, the world is in turmoil under his leadership and on the brink of a major international conflict that could snowball into World War 3, with millions of people dying to enrich the military-industrial complex. He has also united US adversaries, including China and Russia, and the Arab world against the United States. In one word, kindly describe 81-year-old President Joe Biden (@JoeBiden).

Types of “bye” “Bye” - solid, no nonsense “Bye bye” - cheery, used for family, kid-friendly “Byeeeee” - used when walking away from a relative’s house/waving someone off “Goodbye” - versatile, can be either friendly or menacing “Bye then” - good for if someone’s just unexpectedly walked off without saying bye to you “Bye for now” - bit mysterious “Bye bye bye bye bye” - ending phone calls

Our shame! Today when I saw clips of poor Americans who lost their humble mobile homes in the tornadoes, I thought about the billions of dollars we give to Palestinians and other folks who hate our guts and who live in much nicer homes than our fellow citizens. How can this be?

@philcraig2 @0xFluster Phil there’s quite a debate about whether blacks can be called racist. Racism is discrimination linked to power. So now yes. But previously no.

@0xFluster Not quite sure whether this is satire or something you are sufficiently deluded to believe - either way, thanks for sharing. It is illuminating

The uncomfortable truth is that the primary reason why SA is in such a mess is because the majority of black voters are too racist to vote for a party based on merit
