@Bowlerguy90 @AngryMariners True his defense is elite, I was thinking more from an offense stand-point. The best lineup considering defense would be to keep Young at 2B and probably have Donovan in a utility role

@levicoove @AngryMariners Cole is literally 6th in the league in DRS and on pace for almost a 5 WAR season. He literally is an all star level 2B. Donovan is a liability this year on defense. Raley is back down to his normal self… reason why he hasn’t seen the field much

Mike Trout and Brice Harper debuted in the majors at an age where they wouldn't even be eligible for the draft yet under the new system.
An American born 19-20 year-old phenom would not be possible under the proposed system... clearly something that fans were clamoring for. (/s)

@Bowlerguy90 @AngryMariners I mean if they can replace Cole Young with an all star level 2B (which, in theory, Donovan is - if he’s healthy and playing well) they should. Young could be a utility infielder. Or else Donovan could be the utility man. But Raley should not be benched at the expense of either

@TBRaysCentral This was very obvious to everyone who knows baseball. He was never gonna be a .300 hitter. The rays called him up for his speed and defense, and that’s been enough to barely keep him afloat. He’s a replacement level player

Mariners are reassessing their 6-man rotation and are expected to announce details later today. Per source, Kade Anderson and Ryan Sloan are not part of the team's immediate plans.

Dan Gilroy's imagination is limited so his idea of unique planets is just "oh here's the Scottish Highlands" or "here's a planet full of wheat." This isn't a problem unique to him as all of Disney's Star Wars has it but it showcases a creative bankruptcy across the board.
