@LDS_Dems ICE agents do drive marked cars and wear uniforms. Why do they cover their faces? Because if they don’t, they and their family will get doxxed, harassed, and assaulted by left-wing agitators.

I'm just saying, I don't think it is too much to ask immigration enforcement to drive marked cars, where a uniform and uncover their faces like literally every other law enforcement agency in the country.

@cottoninnymugs @dead_baseball You know how teams in Little League would always play their best players at SS? It’s the same case here. They’re there because they’re good, and it means they have the ability to play likely anywhere else outside of C and maybe CF

This is the 3rd high school shortstop from Corona, California in the last 9 years the Brewers drafted with their first pick.

@jodiecongirl @AgainstWeaves "another $7500 for roth" Yeah, that's not true. You can max out 401K and then max out your IRA, but you cannot do $7,500 for a traditional IRA and then put in $7,500 for a Roth IRA in the same year.

Strosnider will probably be an over-slot pick... Notable over-slot picks for the Brewers the last 4 years... Jacob Misiorowski Cooper Pratt (#3 prospect) Josh Adamczewski (#6 prospect) Bishop Letson (#9 prospect) Luke Adams (#11 prospect)

@JordanLoppnow People look at this list and don’t realize the Brewers often draft players early they can sign below slot so they can grab a high school guy like Cooper Pratt later and sign them above slot away from a college commitment.

@vqs9bzmq4r Miz has a RA9 of 2.19 and RA9avg of 4.57 (4.57-2.19)/4.57=.521 52.1% better than expected. Sanchez has a RA9 of 2.99 and RA9avg of 5.67 (5.67-2.99)/5.67=.474 47.4% better than expected. Sanchez has 7.76% more innings, which makes up for the 4.7% better performance by Miz.

@vqs9bzmq4r The simplest way to look at it is to go to the value pitching section on baseball reference and compare RA9 (how many runs they give up per 9, including unearned runs) to RA9avg (what the average pitcher would be expected to give up given opponent/defense/stadiums).

Cooper Pratt's defense is so good he's currently got a 6.5 bWAR/162 pace despite rocking a .626 OPS.

@jake_schwall "you draft best on board regardless of position" This isn't even true. You can draft under-slot in order to over-slot later picks and maximize your bonus pool. Brewers have done this a LOT in the last few years. Netted Pratt, Letson, Adamczewski, among others.

I've got this a lot these last couple months: - its MLB Draft- you draft best on board regardless of position - farm has Hardin, Letson, Dorchies, Knoth, etc. Its not as deep as bats, but there's talent -reason its not as deep? They've graduated how many young arms to the bigs
Jim Koerten@JimKoerten

@jake_schwall Let's focus on pitching. I can't think of any pitching prospect in the minors I'm excited about

Looks like April 4th will be the only date this year where both Logan Henderson and Brandon Woodruff were on the active roster for the Brewers.

Reddit cracks me up sometimes. Rockies literally have the worst record in the league in March/April this decade.

A lot of people are saying "bench Frelick" and "bench Yelich" which doesn't solve the problem. Vaughn, Contreras, Sanchez, and Chourio are obvious starters against lefties. That leaves CF and RF as the only openings for Mitchell, Lara, Bauers, Yelich, and Frelick.
Baseball's Not Dead@dead_baseball

Looking at Lara's minor league splits this year and the fact that him and Chourio are the only RHH OFers, gotta think he's going to be an auto-start anytime the Brewers are facing a lefty. Question is which of Bauers and Mitchell is now platooned?

@dead_baseball Sure. Right now. You aren’t seeing the big picture though. He is highly likely to regress. This isn’t a 23yr old. He has a “back of the baseball card” to show that this is a HUGE outlier. The more ABs he gets, the more likely he crashes. Be better sir. Be smarter.

@EngeB_1 @Antony_Ryan22 You can't start Contreras behind the plate 162 games. When you need to give him a day off on defense, you do it when the Brewers face a lefty.
