@WisprFlow please advise! love your software but it breaks daily. using on windows - have 3 audio inputs. wispr sees the inputs, shows no signal coming to any of them. however, windows OS shows signal, i can open audio apps and record audio so devices are working fine. have tried admin mode, checked settings etc. only fix is the reset and restart option. it will then work for 5 or 10 min, then breaks again.

New Tesla Safety Score v3.0 just dropped. You'll now get a score of 100 for every mile you drive on FSD (Supervised). This is a great move, because it was one of the biggest complaints from users who liked to used FSD all the time. You'd drive on FSD, but it would sometime ding your score, increasing your premiums. Now, using FSD will lower your premiums in Indiana, Tennessee, Texas, Arizona, Virginia & Illinois.
Tesla North America@tesla_na

Tesla Insurance update With the latest version of Safety Score (v3.0), every mile you drive with FSD Supervised enabled will receive a score of 100. This allows you to maintain a higher average safety score over time, resulting in lower monthly insurance premiums. Applies to new policies in Indiana, Tennessee, Texas, Arizona, Virginia & Illinois

This is not good. “Everywhere chemicals” leaching from plastics may have contributed to 1.97 million preterm births and 74,000 newborn deaths worldwide in one year (2018), with an estimated 6.69 million years of life lost. Born at 28 weeks. The child faces: 7x the risk of hearing impairment 5x the risk of vision abnormalities 3x the odds of dental enamel defects 2x the odds of developmental delay Previous U.S. analysis found that prenatal phthalate exposure was associated with increased preterm birth risk. Mothers in the highest 10% of DEHP exposure had about a 50% higher chance of preterm birth than those in the lowest 10%, and phthalates were linked to about 56,595 preterm births in the US in 2018. "Everywhere chemicals" are phthalate derivatives added to plastics to make them softer, they leach into the environment and into food, where they have been linked to health risks including birth and developmental disruptions. These chemicals have been associated with inflammation, endocrine and metabolic disruption, and in pregnant women may disrupt placental and maternal-fetal pathways, which could contribute to preterm birth sometimes. Preterm birth is linked to a dramatically higher risk of newborn death: one large study found nearly 16 fold higher neonatal mortality versus term birth, and a global meta analysis estimated that 8% of babies born preterm die within the first 28 days, rising to 40% in extremely preterm infants. Phthalates (especially DEHP) exposure damages adults too, with those in the highest third of exposure showing 42% increased all-cause mortality compared to being in the lowest third.

It's just insane that one company does this much in a single year
Tesla@Tesla

Q4 Shareholder Update → ir.tesla.com — Highlights 2025 marked a critical year for Tesla as we further expanded our mission & continued our transition from a hardware-centric business to a physical AI company. We also laid the foundation for the future of Tesla by further advancing FSD Supervised, launching our Robotaxi service, beginning to install production lines for Cybercab & fine-tuned our production-primed Optimus design while expanding our AI training infrastructure. In 2026, we will further invest in the infrastructure needed to support clean energy + transport as well as autonomous robots. This includes the ramp of 6 new production lines across vehicle, robots, energy storage & battery manufacturing. We're building a world of amazing abundance. LFG! Automotive – APAC region continues to show strength across multiple markets & set a record for deliveries this quarter – Preparations in North America continue for the production ramps of Tesla Semi & Cybercab, both commencing in the first half of 2026 & production of the next gen Roadster Energy generation + storage – Highest quarterly energy storage deployments, driven by record Megapack deployments – Total gross profit = $1.1 billion, marking our 5th consecutive record quarter! – Megapack 3 & Megablock production starting at Megafactory Houston this year – In 2025, Powerwall network supported more than 89k Virtual Power Plant events across >1 million installed units, saving homeowners >$1 billion in electricity bills Robotics – Planning to unveil Optimus Gen 3 in Q1 this year, our first design meant for mass production – Start of production planned by end of 2026, with eventual planned capacity of 1 million robots/year AI Training Compute – Currently building Cortex 2 at Giga Texas to further increase our AI training compute capacity – In the first half of 2026, we're planning to more than double the size of onsite compute in Texas (in terms of H100 equivalents) Battery – Our lithium refinery started pilot production. It is the first spodumene to lithium hydroxide refinery in North America, with a simpler, cheaper & more environmentally friendly process – Started producing battery packs for certain Model Ys with our 4680 cells, unlocking an additional vector of supply – We now produce dry electrode for 4680 cells with both anode + cathode made in Austin – We expect both domestic cathode material in Austin & LFP lines in Nevada to begin production this year AI Software – Shipped latest version of FSD Supervised (V14), which will drive you to your destination, find a free spot & park AI Inference Compute – Development of our in-house, custom designed AI5 & AI6 inference chips for autonomy progressed during Q4, with production planned for 2027 & 2028 respectively – Targeting a 50x improvement for AI5 compared to AI4, thanks to 10x raw compute, 9x memory capacity & 5x hardened block quantization & softmax function (= enabling efficient low precision computing without sacrificing model accuracy) Automotive + Other Software – Robotaxi app no longer has a waitlist in the areas we serve – Our vehicles keep getting better with over-the-air software updates: Grok w/ navigation commands, Photobooth, Supercharger Site Maps, Automatic HOV Routing, & more Robotaxi – Began testing driverless Robotaxis in Austin in December & began removing safety monitor from customer rides in January – Our Bay Area ridehailing service now serves SJC, with plans to expand to other Bay Area airports upon receiving required permitting – Cumulative paid Robotaxi miles have now exceeded 600k FSD Supervised – Launched in Korea, where customers drove >1 million kilometers in just one month – We continue to pursue regulatory approval in China & Europe – FSD Supervised subscriptions more than doubled in 2025

I'm not sure I understand these takes. To me, these things are also possible: 1) Unsupervised is quickly approaching and will be significantly more valuable to people than supervised which = price goes up, >15k? (hypothetical, obviously, as they are taking away out right purchase). But I can also see the monthly $99 skyrocketing once you can sleep while you drive. 1b) This could be Tesla's way of signaling to early adopters that if you want to lock in the lower price of 8k, do it before feb 14 2) There has been a lot of assumptions about FSD transfer going away, but no official communication. There are other ways this plays out: 2b) This could be another way to reward early adopters. Once unsupervised goes mainstream, maybe Tesla grandfathers in everyone who has bought FSD outright for the lifetime of their account as a "thanks" for helping to train the model. 2c) Similar to my Oura Ring - I was an early adopter. When they switched to a monthly subscription model, myself and others who already had the ring were grandfathered in for life at $0 as a thank you for believing in the product early on. These things are very likely to also not happen - but my point is no one knows. There is as much evidence that this could be a subtle way of telling current FSD enthusiast "hey, buy it now before it gets crazy" as there is "hey, we're going subscription from here on out so if you will own your car for >6 years, buy it now" I lean more towards the optimistic option. cc: @DirtyTesLa @ChuckCook @greggertruck @rhensing thoughts?
The Cybertruck Guy@cybrtrkguy

Am I the only one who thinks this is an absolutely terrible idea? -Subscription fatigue is real. -FSD subscriptions can’t be financed. Now you make two monthly payments. -HW3 owners will need to pay out of pocket for the retrofit. -FSD license Transfer will be dead. -Future autonomous vehicles will require ongoing payments regardless of ownership. (i.e. I buy a car without a steering wheel but it won’t work unless I keep paying?!) -Subscriptions are easy to churn for temporary, seasonal, or cyclical time periods. Essentially: “Pay forever or your car shuts off”.
