It’s strange though, in december it was exactly like this - but then sol shot up and we had good vol for 1 month in JAN if thats not MM what caused this then?

Sure there’s 0 positive light about the other sectors but people still play them bc it’s fun + makes them money
Memecoins can be exactly that if there was just more marketing that changed the stigma of what it is
Also SOL price doesn’t really affect the trenches as much as you think or MM
the real solution is better onboarding bc most people don’t even know what memecoins really are

Been seeing a lot more doom posting about how memecoins are “over” again lately
I don’t think memecoins will ever die if there’s enough marketing being done
Since my last post, I got word from @AxiomExchange that they will begin to run more ads on social media
I’m sure @Pumpfun and @TradingTerminal also have onboarding plans as well
But I do encourage KOLs and trenchers to engage with these platforms and keep demanding more marketing to be done
Nothing changes if nothing changes
Meanwhile, I do think it’s still worth trenching despite many people “quitting”
This is how you build yourself an edge then reap the rewards when it picks back up again

Apparently there are only 6k trenchers online right now A few months ago this was 15k+ There’s clearly a huge lack of onboarding We don't need anymore unnecessary feature updates We need @Pumpfun and the major trading terminals to starting investing the millions of dollars they've generated into marketing on social media This should be the #1 priority if we want memecoins to become mainstream Especially now with the SEC acknowledging crypto as digital collectibles

Other than the fact people refer to memecoins as ‘gambling’ there’s 0 positive light to all the other sectors you’ve mentioned.
Wherever you look aboht meme coins all you see - Rug pulls, Insiders gambling ect. There’s literally no positive light on it.
Sure complaining may not help i agree, but you have to be holistic and see the truth, and that is we’re slow bleeding to 0.
The only way we get saved is if Sol price rockets and MM start pumping coins but again it’s a temporary fix to a never ending problem

Sure you can argue that retail lost money but 90% of retail also lose to prediction markets, daytrading, sports betting, and the list goes on
These other hustles are significantly bigger than memecoins but retail has way less of an edge to winning
Complaining 24/7 about bundlers, vamps, etc literally solves nothing
