@semihmasat I tend to be very good at keeping MailMate a secret for most people. I’m glad you like it.

Finally an email client that does not suck. @mailmateapp So sorry it took a lot of time to find you.

I tested @mailmateapp and convinced it is a wonderful but I worried about the followup of the development. I haven't read about mailmate anything new for months.

@justincroser @SmashinSecurity @gcluley A license key bought more than 10 years ago is still valid. I naturally prefer subscriptions (patrons), but this payment method doesn’t (yet) generate a license key.

@NeptuneMoon Write me via Help > Send Feedback and I’ll help you locate the license key. (Maybe it was somehow deleted from your keychain.)

@bunducafe Write me via Help > Send Feedback. It sounds like an issue a few users have reported and I expect to be looking into it next week. If it’s reproducible for you then it makes it easier to debug.

@nikize0 @internetplumber @MicrosoftHelps @Office365 No, the issue is unrelated to authentication (which uses OAuth2). It’s a weird Microsoft server issue where connecting using IPv6 has the side effect of some internal retrieval of user data failing. (The error type itself is also wrong, but that’s an old Exchange IMAP issue.)

@jaydenheinze You can always try to write me via “Help > Send Feedback”. Plenty of free alternatives to MailMate so I really do hope that using a cracked version isn't a serious/necessary alternative ;)

@mailmateapp Hi Mailmate, I enjoyed the trial version of your email client. However, unforntunately, I think the price that you offer is not within my budget. Was hoping to have some private communication about this matter. I'd love to pay for a liscense, instead of cracked.

@donileo Some ideas: Maybe the “Submailbox for the messages of each account” setting is closer to what you want (Submailboxes pane for Tagged) or maybe the Source Account column in the message list or maybe color-coding emails depending on source (only in test releases).

@donileo You need to tell MailMate that these are labels and not folders to make them behave like MailMate tags. It's pretty hard to make these things work without understanding how Gmail works: #gmail" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">manual.mailmate-app.com/account_setup#…

@PaskeChepa I'm not sure it's possible at all (not when I last looked at the available APIs). At least not deep integration (I don't actually know how Antidote works).

@bunducafe Send me an email via Help > Send Feedback and I'll provide instructions to make a process sample.

@bunducafe Use Help > Send Feedback and we'll try to debug. I'll likely need a sample of the process if you know how to make one :)

@srikat I don't have any reports about general issues with Gmail. Does it work in other desktop IMAP clients? Make sure the username is correct. Maybe try a different default browser (wild guess).

@mailmateapp Is there a way to make Gmail accounts work in MM? After entering the password and authorising on Gmail's end, it says "Something went wrong". IMAP is enabled in Gmail's settings.

@selfawaresoup Yes, it's just been a long time since a public release. (Lots of changes in beta/test releases.)

@ajfmiranda Yes, it is! You can get the latest test release by holding down the option key when clicking Check Now in the Software Update preferences pane. (I’m working hard on making it ready for a public release, but I don’t know when it’ll be.)

Is @mailmateapp still under development? Latest stable release in 2020. Been running a beta version on M1 Mac for a long long time

@AncientToaster Hopefully within a few months. You are welcome to try a test release which should be pretty stable at the moment: Hold down the option key when clicking Check Now in the Software Update preferences pane.

@ToniWonKanobi Ah, sorry. It's not very useful because it'll show the pending date even if already sent. Use the State column instead and look for “Pending for later” as the value.

Now that’s a name I’ve not heard in a long time
@mailmateapp Hey I noticed that Mailmate always stops my scheduled restart in macOS because it failed to quit because of a pending “Send Later” email. Thing is, I don’t have any Drafts currently. How can I check for emails in a “Send Later” queue (if it exists)?
