Good Morning! 👋 ⛔ The #M48 #SevernBridge remains closed this morning in both directions between J1 (#Aust) and J2 (#Chepstow) due to High Winds. We will continue to monitor the wind speeds and advise when it is safe to open the bridge.

@PNH_Hotelier Wearing a mask in a restaurant to protect others against #covid is a small ask. Especially as it is not worn when at the table. Same for shops and public transport. This is a non issue. I will carry on to wear mine.

A restaurant I like says they will “expect” guests to wear masks after Monday. Regret if they insist I won’t be going however much I like them. Sure i’m not alone in this.

Last night saw disgraceful attacks against police officers in Bristol. Our officers should not have to face having bricks, bottles and fireworks being thrown at them by a mob intent on violence and causing damage to property. The police and the city have my full support.
