Morning @British_Airways. Wonder if you can help. Is it true that if I booked with @SingaporeAir you can cancel flights for £83, but if you book with BA they are non refundable? I need to cancel March flights to Oz with my Dad because his partner is in intensive care. Thanks 👍

@markcribb We would always recommend customers take out travel insurance from the date they make their booking. In some cases, we can help place a ticket on hold but not always offer a full refund. Steven.

@British_Airways Thanks Steven, since you have 3 months to re-sell the tickets it feels like you would be profiteering from her haemorrhage if we claim on insurance because you would get paid for the seats twice? A refund feels more human/e?
