@Thetimhunter26 @brz_1872 It’s you that doesn’t understand. Just because the ref gives the foul, doesn’t mean it’s a penalty if it’s inside the box, it still has to be a foul for VAR to give the penalty. It wasn’t a foul

The referee gave a free kick. Should have been told it was in the box so it was a penalty. Then he checks if it was actually a foul on the Rangers player.
You cant pick and choose the rules you want.

If that had went to VAR for a penalty and the referee reviewed it but didnt give a penalty then fair enough. Wouldnt be happy but at least the laws of the game had been applied.
