@Upasika1 @wut_dufuk100 @mathbeer_ She is the 1st MP & Cabinet Minister from the Badi community. I remember a road journey from KTM to Nepalgunj in 1996. We passed a couple of Badi settlements. My knowledgeable colleague told me the Badi were considered the most marginalized amongst the Nepali Dalit community.

Such a long journey! A woman from one of the most marginalized communities in Nepal - still a mostly patriarchal misogynist society. Well deserved I'm sure! Best of luck to the Hon'ble Sita Badi.
